Jade Seah Bio

A bio of Jade Seah mediacorp career as follows! Jade Seah is a former Miss Singapore runner up in 2006 and was signed to become a Mediacorp artiste contract just as she was graduating from her SMU Double Degree Business Course. Jade Seah has 2 brothers as sibling and was sporty during her shcool days.

Jade Seah has credit the SMU (Singapore Management University) culture of speaking up in classes and her various hosting experience prior as Jade Seah first show was as a entertainment report show known as Rated E. Jade Seah soon become a co-host for Dance Floor with Glenn Ong and Mark Van Cuylenberg and even appeared in a promo video for the Dance Floor.



Next Jade Seah who is a food lover took up hosting Sweets for my Sweet, a program where Mediacorp couples discuss their love life and recommend places of sweet food. Sweets for my Sweet was a hit and thus a second season was produced with Michelle Chong pairing up with Jade Seah once more and following more couples of Mediacorp to various eating places with sweet dishes.

Somewhere in between this period, Jade Seah also had a cameo role in the Singapore Short Stories series where she plays a hotel PR officer trying to promote a hotel package to a old man.



Finally Jade Seah took up her first Chinese acting gig in the sport theme drama about Beach Vollyball titled Beach Ball Babes along with Jessica liu and Joanne Peh The show gain notoriety for a segement where the 3 mediacorp babes ran in bikinis along the wet market after losing a bet to another team. Jade Seah was cast likely due to her experience with netball and sports. However she had a limited role due to her weaker Chinese language.



More sports related gigs for Jade Seah followed as Sports@SG was next on the agenda. The show covered various Sporting activities in Singapore including interviews with the people involve in the particular sports. It also feature Jade Seah trying out the sports in each episode. The show was well received and currently a second season has already been produced and began airiing in January 2010.



In 2009, Jade Seah starred in her first English Drama series entitled First Class. She plays a likeable and humble teacher called Tew Lili in the show and the role has gain her more exposure and support from viewers. A second season of First Class was produced and see Jade Seah returning in her role as Tew Lili.
